Rush has matured into a typey 9 lb male with a lot to offer in a small package. He’s accomplished so much in such a short time frame: Championships in two countries, a Toy Group winner, Owner Handled Best in Show winner, two-time award of excellence winner at the AKC National Championship (2024 and 2025) and award of merit at Westminster Kennel Club (2026).
Rush had a whirlwind trip to his championship! The day after he turned 6 months old, Rush defeated two specials to win the breed and went on to a regular Toy Group 2 under judge Jacqueline Stacy. A month later, he won the breed over a special at the Kennel Club of Philadelphia show and made a cut in a tough Toy Group. Then, just two days after turning 8 months old, Rush finished his championship with a major at the AKC National Championship in Florida!
In August 2024, we made a quick trip up to Canada for the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club National Specialty where Rush won Winners Dog and Best of Winners under Judge Jean Tremblay. He won the breed from the classes at the CMTC booster and again at the all-breed show, and Toy Group 3 and Toy Group 4. He finished his Canadian championship in just 4 days of shows.
