Whether you’re looking for a pet, a show dog or a performance dog, this page is meant to help anyone and everyone looking to add a Manchester Terrier (Standard or Toy) or English Toy Terrier to their home. Within these pages, you will find puppies, adult dogs that are being rehomed by their owners for various reasons, rescue dogs, and retired show dogs. We hope to expand this web site with useful information over time.
Are you new to the breed? Or looking for some helpful tips? Check out our resources page for breed-specific information and recommendations about care, vaccines, supplies, and more!
Do you have a dog you want to list? It’s free! We’ll add more countries as we get listings for them. Email Michelle your listing.
Subscribe to our email list by providing your email below, and receive updates about new Manchesters added to our available listings, periodic breed-specific tips, and other Manchester Terrier information. On average, we will email you less than once per month and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Rescues
You may see a lot of dogs listed on sites like Petfinder but 99% of them are mislabeled and are NOT Manchester Terriers. We will only list actual Manchester Terriers here and you will find there are not many. American Manchester Terrier (AMTC) Rescue is the only rescue dedicated solely to this breed and it takes in less than 10 dogs per year, on average. The typical rescue is a senior toy male. AMTC Rescue gets puppies less than once every 10 years and therefore does not keep a waiting list for puppies. If you are interested in a puppy, we encourage you to review the puppy listings further down the page. There are so many responsible breeders involved with preserving this rare breed that most breeders take their dogs back if their owners cannot keep them, which is why it is difficult to find a Manchester to adopt from rescue.
Adult Rehomes
Adult rehomes may be dogs whose owners have to find them a new home but do not need the services of a rescue, a retired dog from a breeder, or a dog that a breeder kept to grow up but did not turn out to be show quality.
